Industry collaboration was celebrated through the Outstanding Industry Engagement Award, which went to the PATA India Chandigarh University Student Chapter. The award recognised the chapter’s systematic approach to bridging academic study with real‑world tourism operations, including structured mentorship programmes and hands‑on training that equip students with the competencies required for immediate entry into the travel sector.
Jointly receiving the Best Engagement with Young Tourism Professionals Award, the PATA Malaysia Chapter and the PATA Thailand Chapter were commended for their coordinated efforts to nurture emerging talent. Both chapters have organized networking events, skill‑building workshops, and mentorship circles that directly connect young professionals with established industry leaders, thereby strengthening the pipeline of qualified personnel in their respective markets.

The Best Sustainability Initiative Award was presented to the PATA Thailand Mae Fah Luang University Student Chapter. Projects have ranged from campus‑wide waste‑reduction campaigns to community‑based ecotourism pilots that demonstrate how student‑led actions can contribute to broader sustainability goals.
Exemplifying dedication to industry development, the Award of Excellence was bestowed upon the Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter. This recognition reflects the chapter’s sustained commitment to advancing travel and tourism education, as well as its role in supporting collaborative research and outreach initiatives that benefit both students and the wider tourism ecosystem.
For consistent alignment with the Association’s core mission over a half‑decade, the Spirit of PATA Award was granted to the PATA India Chapter. The accolade acknowledges the chapter’s progressive implementation of PATA’s strategic objectives, including capacity‑building programmes, market‑expansion studies, and advocacy efforts that have collectively reinforced India’s position within the Pacific Asia tourism network.
In the spirit of commemorating PATA’s 75th Anniversary, Special Recognition was extended to a select group of Chapters and Student Chapters whose long‑term contributions have fortified the Association. Recipients included the PATA Hong Kong School of Hotel & Tourism Management (SHTM) Student Chapter, PATA India Christ University Student Chapter, PATA Japan Wakayama University (WU) Student Chapter, PATA Malaysia HELP University Student Chapter, PATA Thailand Bangkok University Student Chapter, and PATA UAE Higher Colleges of Technology Student Chapter.
