Red Sea Global (RSG) has announced the start of operations at AMAALA Yacht Club, marking a significant milestone in the development of the Saudi Red Sea as a destination for luxury yachting, sailing, and marine tourism.
Situated within AMAALA Marina Village, the club is now open to founding members and visiting yachts. Located about 2,000 nautical miles from Monaco, AMAALA is being developed as a winter cruising hub for the international sailing community and a gateway between the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean.
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, stated, “The AMAALA Yacht Club marks the emergence of a truly global yachting destination, offering unparalleled access to the stunning Saudi Red Sea coast. More than a world-class facility, it combines luxury, wellness, and regenerative tourism in a way that is unique globally.”
The 7,900-square-metre club includes dining and social venues such as the AMAALA Lounge, ANQA, 27°C, and The Deck, along with a rooftop pool, private meeting suites, and spaces for events and gatherings.
The club will also play a central role in Saudi Arabia’s growing presence in international sailing. It will serve as the centerpiece for the Grand Finale of The Ocean Race 2027 and is expected to host various international yachting events annually.

Members and guests will have access to AMAALA’s resorts, including Four Seasons, Six Senses, Rosewood, Equinox, and Nammos, with two more resorts set to open soon. The destination will offer wellness experiences, water sports, cultural programs, art installations, and social spaces.
AMAALA is approximately 45 minutes from Alwajh International Airport and enjoys average seasonal temperatures of 26°C, with lows of 23°C.
Designed by HKS Architects, the yacht club draws inspiration from the Red Sea coastline’s rock formations, featuring cantilevered terraces, maritime elements, and traditional Arabian architectural details.
Like the broader AMAALA destination, the yacht club operates entirely on renewable energy, aligning with Red Sea Global’s commitment to responsible development and regenerative tourism.
AMAALA Marina offers 119 berths and can accommodate superyachts over 100 metres. It currently provides marine services, including fueling, with maintenance and repair facilities planned for the future.
