Europe’s travel environment has expanded with Twiliner joining Omio’s platform, which now offers a broader range of overnight travel options. This move enables customers to browse and book Twiliner’s high-end overnight bus services in tandem with other modes of transportation, including trains, buses, flights, and ferries, all through Omio.
Initially, Twiliner’s services will be available on two key routes: one connecting Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, Basel, and Zurich, and another linking Barcelona, Girona, Bern, and Zurich. With nearly daily departures on these routes, Twiliner aims to broaden its reach, targeting connections to approximately 30 European cities in the future.
Onboard amenities
Twiliner is designed to prioritize comfort for overnight travel, featuring fully reclining seats and bedding for a restful journey. Among its onboard amenities are internet access, power outlets, reading lights, foldable tables, storage compartments, a sizable restroom, and a dedicated changing area. Additionally, passengers can enjoy complimentary beverages, generous luggage allowances, and snacks from the onboard bar.
Typically, travellers face a dilemma between arriving at their destination and getting rest. However, Twiliner’s approach seeks to eliminate this trade-off, much like airlines have done by providing productivity tools during short flights, albeit with a focus on sleep rather than work.

According to Facundo Viguie Aleman, Omio’s CMO, “Travellers are looking for more choice in how they move across Europe, especially when it comes to comfortable, low-stress overnight journeys. By adding Twiliner to Omio, we are making it easier for customers to discover and book a premium night bus experience that helps them travel while they sleep and arrive ready for the day ahead.”

Facundo Viguie Aleman further emphasized that this integration is part of Omio’s broader strategy to expand its travel offerings across various modes of transportation and markets. Currently, the platform aggregates over 3,000 transport providers spanning more than 50 countries, allowing travellers to compare and book their journeys by train, bus, flight, or ferry.
